A new site, and every old address still lands somewhere.
Years of search results, bookmarks and printed flyers point at your current pages. We rebuild the site lighter and clearer, and map each of those addresses before the old site goes dark.
Why rebuilds go wrong.
- Broken addressesMost damage happens on launch day. The page names change, and every link anyone saved now leads to an error page. Search engines notice within days.
- Carried-over weightOld themes collect sliders, plugins and full-size photos until the home page crawls on a phone. A rebuild is the moment to drop them, not carry them over.
Every old address gets a row and a destination.
We collect the old addresses from the sitemap and the site's own content listing, then decide each one with you.
The same home page, measured on the same tools.
Numbers from the dental lab rebuild, measured before launch.
Six steps, in this order.

Measure the old site
Every page, redirect, form and picture, recorded read-only. See website audits.
Agree what stays
Pages that still earn visits keep their words. Forms that collect what you should not hold are dropped.
Write the redirect map
One row per old address, reviewed with you before any code.
Build lighter
A theme made for your site rather than a general one, pictures sized for the space they fill, nothing loaded that the page doesn't use.
Check before the switch
Phone and laptop widths, speed, contrast, every form, every redirect.
Switch and re-check
Request every old address on the live site and watch for not-found errors in the weeks after.

Carlos Ceramics Dental Lab's old site was heavy and asked for details on its forms that a lab site should never collect. The new forms email the lab and store nothing. The site is built and launching soon. Read how the rebuild is put together.

Older sites with history worth keeping.
What it won't do. Redirects protect what the old site earned in search. They don't add new ranking, and we won't promise any. We also won't copy a competitor's words or photos into your pages.
About replacing a site.
What happens to an old page that has no match on the new site?
It forwards to the closest useful page, usually its parent section, never to a blank home page by default. If nothing fits, we list it for you to decide before launch.
Can we keep our current hosting and domain registrar?
Usually. The redirect map and the new site do not depend on where the domain is registered. We check the hosting can run the new build at the speed we promised to measure.
How do we know nothing broke after launch?
We request every old address again on the live site and compare the answers with the map, then keep an eye on not-found errors for the first weeks.
Is a rebuild worth it if the site only looks dated?
Not always. If it is fast, accurate and easy to change, a refresh of words and photos may be enough. The audit tells you which case you are in.
