The quote call, turned into a form that asks it for you.
Customers answer your questions in your order, attach their files, and send one complete request. Or they pick an open time that your calendar already agrees with.
Seven questions a sign shop used to ask on the phone.
This is the flow we built for Conception Design. Steps 4 and 5 are the ones a phone call handles worst: where the print goes, and the file it should be printed from.
- 01Service
Signs, apparel, vehicle graphics, large format, or "not sure"
- 02Item
The specific product inside that service
- 03Quantity
How many, with sensible steps for bulk runs
- 04Placement
Where the print goes, marked on a drawing of the garment
- 05Artwork
Upload a file up to 8 MB, or describe the design in words
- 06Recap
Everything on one screen to check before it goes
- 07Cart & send
Several items in one request, sent to the shop
A request you can price without calling back.

- Your quote questions as stepsIn the order you ask them, with plain choices instead of blank boxes.
- Drawings where words failPlacement diagrams, size guides, a picture per option.
- File upload sized for real artworkWith a "describe it instead" option for people who have no file yet.
- A recap and a cartOne customer can ask about shirts and a banner in the same request.
- Consent that is honestIf a visitor declines cookies, nothing is saved on their device.
- Optional bookingFor jobs that start with a visit or a call.
Conception Design, live since September 2026.
The shop sells mostly to other businesses: storefront signs, vehicle graphics, apparel, hats. A price depends on the item, the count, the placement and the artwork, which is a lot to collect by phone and then by email.
The builder runs on the shop's static site with no outside scripts. Each request is sent through Netlify Forms with the artwork attached, addressed to the shop's order inbox. English and Spanish visitors go through the same steps.

Built for ourselves first.
We haven't built client booking yet. Our own consultation page is the working model.

What runs on our booking page
- 30-minute calls with a video link added automatically
- Buffers between calls and a daily cap
- One question: how did you hear about us?
How we'd build it for you
- Your real calendar behind the page, so only open times show
- Reminders by email or text, with an easy reschedule link
- The booking lands in your CRM with where the customer came from
Any job priced from the same few answers.
What it won't do. It won't invent a price you haven't given us, and it doesn't replace the phone. Customers who would rather call still can, and the number stays on every step.
About quote forms and booking.
Can the builder show a price on the spot?
Only if your pricing follows rules you can write down, such as size times material plus a setup charge. When every job is priced by eye, the builder gathers the details and you reply with the number.
What if a customer gets halfway and leaves?
The draft can be kept on their device so they can come back to it. If they turned down cookies, it stays in memory only and disappears when they close the page.
How large can an uploaded file be?
It depends on the form service. On the sign shop's site the limit is 8 MB per request, which fits most logos and print files. Bigger files can be sent as a link.
Can booking respect our lunch break and travel time?
Yes. Booking pages read your calendar and can add buffers between appointments and a daily cap, so the day doesn't fill wall to wall.
Write down your quote call. We'll turn it into steps.
Bring the questions you ask and a few past requests. The first call is free.
