Every call answered, booked, or passed to the right person.
A phone agent on your business line that handles the calls with one right answer and hands the rest to a person, with a summary waiting before you call back.
A phone agent built around your calls, not a script from a template.

Ninety seconds with a generic plumbing company.
Sample Plumbing Co. is made up. The flow is the one above.

| Who | What was said, and what the system did |
|---|---|
| Agent | "Thanks for calling Sample Plumbing Co. You're speaking with an automated assistant, and this call may be recorded. How can I help?"System: Fixed greeting. Same words every call. |
| Caller | "Hi, my water heater's leaking a bit. Can someone come look at it?"System: "Leaking" is on the urgent list, so it asks the check question the owner wrote. |
| Agent | "Is water spreading across the floor right now, or is it a slow drip?"System: One question decides urgent or routine. |
| Caller | "Slow drip. There's a bucket under it."System: Routine. Opens the booking branch. |
| Agent | "I can book a technician. I have Thursday at nine in the morning, or Thursday at two in the after..."System: Two real open slots read from the calendar. |
| Caller | "Nine works."System: Caller cut in. The agent stops mid-word and takes the answer. |
| Caller | "How much is this going to cost?"System: No repair prices in the approved facts. It does not guess. |
| Agent | "I can't quote repairs. The technician prices the job on site before starting any work."System: Answer copied from the approved facts. |
| Agent | "You're booked for Thursday at nine. I'm texting you a confirmation now."System: Calendar event created, text sent, summary queued for the owner. |
The text the owner gets
New booking, Thu 9:00. Water heater, slow drip, bucket in place, not urgent. Caller asked about price, told the technician quotes on site. Transcript in the inbox.
The hard part of a phone agent is being interrupted.

We have not put a phone agent on a client's line yet. This is how we would build yours, on work we have already done.
For our own assistant we built real-time voice that behaves like a person on the phone. A sound pauses it. A "mhm", a cough or its own voice coming back through the speaker lets it carry on. A real sentence takes the floor. Code review found three faults in that logic, and each one was fixed together with a test that failed first. It runs 31 interruption checks and 21 checks on the voice screen. See the voice assistant build.
For your line we would use a managed voice platform and a phone number in your business's name, picked to fit your phone system and languages. The platform choice is made with you, not before.
How it is tested before a real customer hears it
- We write test calls from your real call reasons, including the awkward ones.
- You and your staff call it and try to break it.
- It goes live on after-hours calls only, and someone reads every summary.
- Busy-hour overflow is added once the summaries stop surprising anyone.
Businesses where the phone rings while hands are full.
Home services
Sorts a burst pipe from a quote request and books the second one.
Repair shops
Answers "is it ready?" from the job status instead of a technician's memory.
Salons and studios
Books, moves and cancels while every chair is busy.
Offices and firms
Takes the first details and books a consultation, without giving advice.
Before you forward your line.
What does a caller hear first?
Your business name, that they are speaking with an automated assistant, and, if calls are recorded, that the call may be recorded. Some states, Florida among them, expect everyone on a recorded call to agree. Plain language, not legal advice.
Can it take a card payment on the call?
We don't build that. Card numbers read aloud end up in recordings and transcripts. It can text a payment link from your own payment provider instead.
Does it keep our existing phone number?
Usually yes. Your number forwards to the agent at the times you choose, such as after six or when every line is busy. The agent's own number is set up in your business's name.

Silence, interruptions and echo.
Agent monitoring
For a phone agent you already have that talks over callers.

On a free call we sort your call reasons into the ones an agent can answer and the ones that need you.
